Committee member withdrawal from project selection process for recently closed call for proposals within the "Research Cooperability Program"
At the Steering Committee's meeting held on 18 December 2009., the Committee reviewed project proposals submitted during the last call for proposals within the "Research Cooperability Program".
The Commitee member, prof. Kristian Vlahoviček, PhD. (University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science) has declared positive and negative conflict of interest in relation to a number of project applicants and proposed his exclusion from selection process. Other members of the Committee unanimously accepted his proposal.
More about the topic on conflict of interest avoidance, scoring system and decision process of the Steering Committee can be found in the document "UKF Steering Committee Procedures for Evaluation of Proposals 2007".
