Results of the Call for proposals for Connectivity Program, Gaining Experince Grant: 21 projects financed
Under the Call for proposals for Connectivity Program of the Unity through Knowledge Fund for Gaining Experience Grant which was announced within the Second Science and Technology Project (STP II) and was opened from November 20, 2018 until February 01, 2019 at midnight, a total of 38 project proposals were submitted (20 proposals were in the research area of natural sciences, 9 of technical sciences, 3 of bio-medical sciences, 3 of biotechnical sciences, 1 in the research area of humanities and 1 proposal in interdisciplinary areas of science).
On the Steering Committee meeting held on March 13, 2019 the UKF Secretariat gave the Steering Committee members an insight into all project proposals submitted to the Call. The analysis of the formal compliance and incompliance of the project proposals to the Call’s propositions was presented.
Without getting into the content and quality of each project proposal, the Steering Committee agreed with the analysis of formal eligibility and concluded that the project proposals which did not meet some of the formal criteria of the Call would not be entered into the evaluation process.
37 project proposals which met formal criteria of the Call for proposals for Gaining Experience Grant were evaluated and Decisions of recommendation on financing were sent to all proposers on March 27, 2019. UKF Secretariat performed the negotiations with the proposers whose project proposals received the final mark of 4,0 and higher and which were conditionally recommended for financing.
After finishing negotiations the Grant Agreements were signed for 21 project in the amount of 801.219 HRK.
